Prevent incidents that change lives forever.
I help organizations strengthen safety leadership, close critical gaps, and build cultures where people speak up.

I help organizations strengthen safety leadership, close critical gaps, and build cultures where people speak up.

I'm Aron Yellott — a Global EHS Executive, Certified Professional Coach, and the founder of The Justin Initiative.
With 15+ years leading safety culture transformation inside complex, high-consequence organizations, I bring a rare combination of scientific rigor, operational experience, and human-centered leadership to every engagement.
My work isn't theoretical. It's grounded in real risk, real organizations, and a deeply personal understanding of what's at stake when safety culture fails. My husband Justin died at 27 from a workplace exposure that never should have happened. That loss is the reason I do this work — and it informs every keynote, every coaching conversation, and every stage I stand on.
The Human Centered Safety Model
Human-Centered Safety is built on a fundamental truth: most serious incidents don't happen because workers made bad choices. They happen because of the gap between how leaders think work happens and how it actually does.
My approach addresses that gap at every level — through keynote speaking that shifts how organizations think, advisory work that surfaces real risk, and executive coaching that builds leaders who close the distance between intent and impact.
Sessions that don't just inform — they shift something. I speak at safety conferences, leadership summits, and industry events, drawing on 15+ years of experience and the story behind The Justin Initiative.
Partnering with executive teams and safety leaders to identify real risk, build speak-up cultures, and close the gap between how work is managed and how it actually happens — using the CLEAR and WORTHY Framework as the starting point.
One-on-one coaching for executives and safety leaders who want to lead with both accountability and humanity — building cultures where speaking up is the norm, not the exception.

Every one of them started with a conversation.
Human-Centered Safety means understanding that workers are not the problem to be managed — they are the solution to be heard.
I don't arrive with a checklist. I come to listen. To understand how work actually happens, where pressure builds quietly, and where your people are absorbing risk that leaders can't see from the top.
Justin didn't die because of a rogue worker. He died because of the gap between how leaders thought work happened and how it actually did. That gap is what Human-Centered Safety closes. That gap is why this work exists.
I founded The Justin Initiative in memory of my husband Justin, who died at 27 from a preventable workplace exposure. I was 24 and pregnant with our son Graham, who never met his father.
That loss is the reason I do this work — and it informs every client engagement, every coaching conversation, and every stage I stand on.
The Justin Initiative brings Justin's story directly into organizations through keynote speaking, leadership workshops, and safety culture advocacy — because every worker deserves to go home.
